As a retailer in Portland I take offense at these comments. While some of his Moldovan wines were OK, they were way over-priced to break into a market where too many people want the same boring wines. When I find it hard to sell lovely Italian wines such as Raboso and Ciro Rosso, why should I take on inventory cost for totally unknown wines? I’ve tried India, Brasil, and some other places. Lesser known wine producing areas need to be at bargain prices in today’s environment.

No, that would be Moldovan wines. I am a Fred Meyer wine steward, and I’ve had your wines, they ****. If they retailed for $5.99, maybe, but not for the prices you were charging. Quit blaming other people for your failure, and look at your dumb-ass business model.
