this one is a screwcap bottle of red wine, fiddleback shiraz 2003 from victoria wine of australia, 13.5% vol.
and there is this VERMOUTH martini rosso from martini& rossi, italy, 16% vol.,
both bottles are screwcap and have been opened for almost two years now.

For the red wine 2 days, for the vermouth 2 weeks. If they have been open for two years they won’t be fit for drinking now, you should throw them away.
Red wine is generally drinkable for less than a week, at least from a flavor standpoint. At two years, it’s long past time to dump it.
The vermouth is in slightly better shape, but not by a whole lot. While hard liquors will more or less last for decades, vermouth won’t. I’ve seen one year as the max life for open vermouth and similar ABV fortified wines.
