Host one in your own home. I work for a company that does in home wine tastings. Its a great way to sample up to six bottles of wine. There you will be able to sample Rieslings, buttery Chardonnays, Viogner's, Rosato's, etc. If that is not available in your state then try a local vineyard or winery and sample whatever you can. Chianti goes well with red meats and chicken, whereas pinot griggio goes well with seafood.
