I am interested in planning a girsl trip to Temecula for wine tasting. We don’t want to drive once we start drinking (for obvious reasons) so I was hoping to find a hotel that had wine tasting withing walking distance or on site. Also hoping to get a reasonable rates. Any recommendations?

There aren’t any hotels on 79, where the wineries are…although you can find some actually IN Temecula. If you search Temecula, there’s a link on the city website and they’ll send you brochures … or go to the AAA and get a free CA trip book. Hotels are listed by city, with ratings, prices and amentities……
You will not be able to find any wineries within walking distance. You will need to drive to the wineries. The closest is about a couple of miles from them.
Here is a list of hotels in Temecula. Depends where you want to stay and your price but the Pechanga casino would be the furthest at about 5-6 miles. Have fun in Temecula!
