All she can remember that it was white, sweet, in a dark tall slender bottle and there was something about Louis XIV on the lable.
Does anyone have any idea what it may have been?

Try Fetzer Gerwurtztraminer for a sweet wine, Or a Pinot Grigio. Don’t know your label.
If it had Louis XIV on it, it was probably french. Try looking for it at your local liquor store.
By the shape of the bottle it was either a gerwitzaminer (sp?) or a reisling.

It could be any number of wines- since that is a widely used name on labels. A few I can think of are Louis Jadot (Chardonnay ) or it could have been a Tokaji wine (a very sweet Hungarian wine) that Louis was known to consume. It’s so difficult to figure it out since there are thousands of labels nowadays.
I think it could be Tokaij: a sweet withe Hungarian whine. It comes in different bottles, so the label and the bottle might be different, but the taste probably not.
