How to sell these wine tasting tickets?

My soccer team is having a fundraiser, the tickets are $20 and we make $15 off of each ticket. The wine tasting includes wine to taste, appetizers, and desserts. How should I ask people to buy them without coming off as pesky or annoying?

I think you should hand out fliers.
Most of the people who buy these type of tickets are friends and relatives of the people selling them. If you are attending (or your parents…I don’t know how old you are), you could invite friends to attend with you….letting them know the price of the tickets.
You might be able to contact the local newspaper to include your event in the paper. You could also advertise for free on.
You could mail flyers to local real estate companies, banks, etc. Sometimes a local cable television channel will promote events such as these for free as well.
