You would be suprised at what $10.00 will get you. Just get out there and start sampleing, you will find one that you like for drinking purposes. A GOOD bottle of white can easily be several hundred dollars. But, i'm guessing you don't want that for your Flipper surprise. My choice would be Kim Crawford Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (2006 preferably). The stores near me (Target, Trader Joe's, Fred Meyer ((which is Kroger))) carry it for around $15 and my local costco has it for $12.99. It's great for cooking because it's quite dry and citrusy, but goes down smoothly as a drinking wine. I bought a case to drink this summer.
