dry cleaner

but usally that’s supposed to be done b4 it touches water.
hope this helps!
Good old white wine – and apply it straight away before it stains. I use to work in a wine shop
i dont think it can come off
Things You?€?ll Need:
Landry detergent, laundry pretreatment or dish soap
Clean sponge
Washing machine
Paper towels
Hydrogen peroxide
Towel or washcloth
Step 1:
Blot the stain immediately with paper towels. If it is a dry clean only garment do not pretreat the stain and get it as fast as you can to the cleaners. Pretreatment of the stain can cause irreversible damage and the dry cleaner may not be able to remove the stain.
Step 2:
Combine 1 teaspoon laundry soap or pretreatment (or dish soap, like Dawn) and 1 cup hydrogen peroxide in a small bowl. Soak a clean sponge in the mixture, squeeze it halfway dry, then gently blot the stain.
Step 3:
Place a dry towel or washcloth between the front and back of the garment if the stain has not penetrated through to the back of the fabric. This will prevent staining on the back of the material.
Step 4:
Review the washing instructions on the label of the fabric. Heed any special care instructions.
Step 5:
Wash in cool water and air dry if the fabric is machine-washable.
Step 6:
Wash gently in the sink with a mild detergent if the fabric is hand-wash only.
Try club soda. It works for me.
You could try dipping it in white milk.. Leave that spot in milk for about an hour.. I saw that on Metacafe.. If you have a wine spot you leave that wine spot in milk..
Hope this helps
water, much salt after on it (3hrs) after in washmashine
If the sweater is true white, use a bleach pen. Those things are worth their weight in gold. Other wise, an ice cube and lye soap might do it. Also some say club soda, but i’ve yet to see that work.
Why go through the trouble? Just dunk the whole sweater in wine. That way you can wear it after labor day.
you should immediatley pour salt on it to absorb the color then put the sweater in cold water biological detergent mixture to soak for as long as possible overnight if possible then wash as normal hope this helps
As long as it is white, Clearasil works GREAT! It’s not so good on colors. Also try that oxiclean you can get a bed bath and beyond. If you have it on hand, borax is also a good stain remover.
Try soaking it in not cold water but club soda or tonic water… that has always worked for me…
Ammonia will remove the stain.
sprinkle some bicarbonate soda on it and let sit for an hour and wash off , or hydrogen perioxide rub with it and wash normally.
Or spill some white wine on it to neturalise colour and rube with sponge and cold water, sprinkle the area with salt ands wait ten minutes then wash off.
All three of these worked well for me
Sponge out serious stains
Cola, hair dye, ketchup, and wine stains on washable cotton blends should be treated as soon as possible (that is, within 24 hours). Sponge the area with undiluted vinegar and launder immediately afterward. For severe stains, add 1-2 cups vinegar to the wash cycle as well.
You can also use White Wine just pour on the stain leave for ten minutes then launder the sweater in Baby Shampoo add four tablespoons to a sink full of cool water then squeeze the suds through and rinse thoroughly with cool water to avoid shrinkage your sweater will come out soft
Good Luck !
