Sangria is usually red wine (although some recipes call for white wine), which is a traditional drink from Spain. The exact ingredients vary from recipe to recipe but generally it has wine and some kind of orange liqueur and fruit and sparkling water. Orange juice is optional. But the red wine doesn’t float on top. So I’m not sure what this drink is you’re talking about. The only thing I thought of was tequila sunrise, but that doesn’t have red wine in it.
