I’m making Balsamic glazed salmon fillets and it calls for white wine but I don’t have any. I have chicken stock though.

no how about an Italian dressing?
yes, I would use a stock in place of wine…..I would normally suggest adding vinegar to the stock when using it as a replacement, but since you’re obviously using vinegar already, you should be set. Good luck!
You can use any liquid you want. You can use water, although that will not give any flavor to the dish. Chicken stock should be fine. If it is canned it may contain more salt than the recipe calls for so cut back on any salt in the recipe.
If you are making vegetables you can also use the cooking liquid from the veggies, tastier than water and you won’t loose the nutrients that are in the water that you would pour down the drain.
buy a cheap white wine, if this goes wrong u can always drink the wine, chicken stock ain’t real tasty
yes, but it might be a little greasier ….. You might water down some orange juice to use … or water down some brandy
Same thing just add a lil water.
Yes you could use chicken stock, it will only taste different.
