someone From UK asked:
I just bought something which contains white wine vinigar… Is this vinigar is same as white vinigar? Is it HALAL to use for Muslims? Few Days ago read in newspaper that many chocolates we eat are not HALAL as they have WHEY POWDER which is not HALAL and also not suitable for vegetarians.

I’m actually interested to use the white wine vinegar to flush out the limescale from my washing machine so taste isn’t important but would also be interested to know whether it could be used in cooking…

following a recipe for a pasta salad, and I don’t have any red wine vinegar at home. I was curious if I could use the white wine vinegar, or if they are totally different.

Gigi M asked: I am making a dressing to go with a roast beef, the recipe says white wine vinegar but I have red wine vinegar.
Will the red taste awful with the rest of the dressing which, also includes dijon mustard, green peppercorns, lime and, olive oil?
Thank you to anybody who may help me.
