What is the best way to get red wine out of a jute rug?

NCPA15 asked:
A bit of red wine was spilled on my butter colored jute rug. I tried the cleaner “Awesome” and scrubbed with a toothbrush, but from the looks of it the stain will still be visible when the spot dries. I think the issue is that jute rugs are very coarse in texture and are tightly knit. Ideas?

Hand Painted Wine Glasses and Specialty Glasses

Want to make each of your guests feel special at your next event? Having hand painted wine glasses, or other glasses such as martini glasses, margarita glasses, and Pilsner glasses for your guests to drink from will make them feel special. This is also another way for your guests to distinguish between one glass over another and keep track of the glass they are drinking from. You wouldn’t have a need for the little charms to place around the stem of each glass.
The glassware can be painted to compliment the theme and colors of your event. They can be painted to match or all different patterns. That is up to you. It is important to keep in mind that since they each are hand painted, no two will be exactly alike.
Depending on the budget for your event and the type of event it is, you could even use the specialty glasses as a party favor. Your guest will love being able to take something so lovely home with them. It is not only a pretty piece, but something they can continue to use in the future.
You do not have to spend a fortune to offer this to your guests. The glasses are reasonably priced and can be completed in a short period of time. You could also have a general theme painted that you feel will work with most of the events you oversee. This will allow you to use them for more than one event and cut the expense even more.
It is definitely worth checking in to!

About the Author:
My name is Amy Ressa. I am the owner of The Painted House and More. My business is located in Central Ohio. I have over 16 years of painting experience which began painting in my own home. I originally started painting with stencils and then progressed in to freehand decorative painting. My style of painting is the One Stroke Technique, developed by Donna Dewberry. It is an easy way to make painting visually interesting. I have experience painting not only on walls, but glass, ceramics, fabric, metal, candles, and canvas. This technique is great for small and large jobs alike. It isn’t limited to just one area. I love to use the acrylic enamel made by Plaid. It is a great product that is very durable. You can bake your glass projects to set the paint, or just let it cure in the open air. After 21 days your paint will be set. I am always looking for people who I can share my talent with.
