RealEstate asked:

I already am going to saute onions and garlic but then when I add the red wine it is going to be too thin, so what can I add to thicken it up a little.

This is going over pork/steak.
What about a little bit of flour? I dont have that arrow stuff that you said.

a little bit of cream? what about milk?

I cant run to the store everything is already cooking!

I saw the recipe on something but can’t find it. It consists of beef pot roast with mushrooms and a creamy red wine sauce. 10 points to the first person who posts a good recipe.

Any good-tasting wine that won’t break the bank?

I am a fan of Sutter Home, which tastes good and isn’t pricey, but I am moving soon and want to have a little get-together once I am settled and would like a good variety to choose from! As a lot of you know, moving is expensive, so I’m on a budget right now. Any ideas?

I am going out with my wife Friday night and would like to buy a special wine that is better than a $10 bottle of beringer. She likes white wines and some reds but not white zinfendales. So I am at a loss as to what to buy. I would really like some suggestions on “good” wines to buy since we are not wine connoisseurs.
