My brothers and I are hosting a formal dinner for our Mother’s 70th birthday. We have several courses planned, with different wines to complement each course. The salad will be served immediately following the main course, and before the cheese course. Merlot will be served with the main course, and Beaujolais will be served with the cheese course. We will be having a light salad with asparagus spears and viniagrette dressing. Another site suggested a dry rosé. What would be a nice wine to pair with a salad? Any ideas — suggestions? Thank You!

I wonder how it works, if anyone knows how I can ship wine from a winery into Mexico without braking the law…
Is it easier to buy wine already imported to the US, then buy and dropship?
Does anyone know about any mexican wine importers in the US?
Thanks!

I usually always have dry champagne around the house but rarely white wine. Can I use champagne instead of white wine when a recipe calls for white wine?

I am not a big white wine drinker, but will be serving it along with beer and hard alcohol at my wedding. I am just looking for a nice white wine that will not cost me an arm and leg to serve to 300 people.
